[OPEN] Translator/Crosschecker

Role in general

You, of course, translate. In order to correctly convey what the characters are saying and expressing, you have got to bring the message across to the readers of the work.

As a crosschecker, you are to check the accuracy of the translator.

In our team

• Experience not required.
  
• Translators in our team some times end up crosschecking other scripts for accuracy if the translator isn't confident in it.
  
• As a translator, you translate what the characters are saying, but at the same time you have to be observant that you are not to translate too literally. You have to connect the entire story together and make everything flow.
  
• As a crosschecker, you are to make sure that the translator has used the most appropriate form of expression as possible.
  
• It is some times okay to omit words, and not strictly follow the original flow of what the manga/doujinshi has shown you as it is impossible to completely re-create the exact same piece of work like the original.

Status

Currently, we need someone to help us with translating Akunin wo Nakaseru Houhou. If you are able to help us out, please complete the translator's test we've uploaded and send us an email with the completed test!
