[Anime] Genshiken Nidaime
My god, nidaime has such a different feel to the first two seasons of Genshiken. SUDDENLY FUJOSHI EXPLOSION. I guess it can't be helped when most of the main characters are females. Then again, once Ogiue appeared in Genshiken... whatever season it was, there was sooome BL. Then S2 had one whole ep of BL XD
BUT THEN NIDAIME BUMPS IT UP TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL.
OH MY GOD HATO. HATO IS KILLING ME.
AND THEN MADARAME SUDDENLY BECOMES SO ADORABLE AND EVEN MORE UKE.

...but anyway, I don't know who else watched Nidaime aside from Aimee. I just felt compelled to make a thread for this since this is a rotten forum and Nidaime is full of rotten girls. And one boy.

Re: [Anime] Genshiken Nidaime
HATO X MADA FTW
yeah I was honestly surprised when I watched Nidaime.
I mean, I loved the first Genshiken for what it was, but Nidaime is... Nidaime is...something else XD
It's basically a very realistic (LOL) anime about how BL destroys your common sense

Re: [Anime] Genshiken Nidaime
Nidaime is completely different. AND MADARAME'S IMAGE COMPLETELY CHANGED, LOL
I wonder if this reflects the otaku world these days? More female orientated manga/anime/games? Female otakus!?
Like with Genshiken, it's mostly males and male-orientated things. Sure there's Ohno and Ogiue but it's still mostly dominated by males. (I don't count Saki since she's not really in that world)
But then in Nidaime, all the guys have left the club and all the new members are females (I'll count Hato as a girl for now since he turns up as a girl). Naturally, the whole show becomes female orientated. \o/
AND I AGREE ABOUT HOW BL DESTROYS YOUR COMMON SENSE. I WAS DYING OVER HATO'S REACTIONS TO HATOxMADA
edit: OH BUT EP 5 IN GENSHIKEN S2. SO MUCH BL. I DIDN'T EXPECT THEM TO SHOW SO MUCH.

Re: [Anime] Genshiken Nidaime
Yep, my thoughts exactly.
Fujoshi have become more prominent in recent years, like it or not, so they (we) are impossible to ignore now xD Nidaime must be a real challenge to Genshiken fans XD
As for Madarame, I feel him (not literally, you pervs). He's graduated and started working, and suddenly he finds himself in a situation where he doesn't get that hyped for the stuff he used to enjoy tremendously. I can relate to that. It's how your outlook on life in general and your hobbies in particular gradually changes with time even if you don't actually feel it. This is kind of sad.

Re: [Anime] Genshiken Nidaime
I wonder how the manga continues from where the anime left off. He quit his job, right? He finally confessed to Saki, discovers there's no reason to pop by the club room anymore and.... yeah, changing outlook on life.
AND YAY FOR FUJOSHIS BECOMING MORE PROMINENT. GIVE US MORE QUALITY FEMALE ORIENTATED ANIMU. It doesn't have to be blatant BL - things like kurobasu and free! are completely fine!
